Regarding the “Sungwon Sangteville Complex 5 apartment owner” candidate posted on April 6, 2026, I received a warning e-mail for “cursing, mocking, and bullying.” However, I am challenging this because it is an official name of the actual apartment building and does not contain any inappropriate information.
Justification of name and content
The ‘Sungwon Sangteville’ used in the submitted title and description is the official brand name of the residential complex. In addition, ‘door’ is a common term for structures at the front door of an apartment in Korea. I affirm that neither the photos nor texts in the submission contain any expressions that attack or mock a particular individual or group.
Presenting objective evidence (Naver Maps data)
In order to prove that the candidate site is an official name that exists, we will submit a link to “Naver Map”, a reliable map service in Korea, and a capture copy.

Hey please check your emails. The reasons you saw are standard reasons that always appear on any infraction no matter what it actually is. You should have received an email with more details, if not, please say so and a staff member might be able to tell you more here on this forum

I received a warning email from Google stating that a problem was found in the relevant contribution candidate (성원상떼빌5단지아파트 문주) (presumably due to the reason for rejection being ‘the photo or text contains profanity, mockery, or harassment against a specific person or group’).
I believe you received this warning email because the submission does not meet the eligibility criteria. While the sign serves to identify the name of an apartment complex, it does not fall under any of the required categories for a Wayspot: a great place for exploration, social gathering, or exercise. Please always double-check whether the function of the object you are submitting fulfills at least one of these eligibility criteria.

I have checked your reply. I fully understand and accept that the candidate was rejected because he did not meet the selection criteria for the pocket stop.
But the key point I inquired about is not ‘candidate approval’, but the injustice of the ‘account warning’ given to me.
The notice of refusal I received states that the candidate was rejected for “cursing, mocking and bullying.” I simply submitted the picture and name of the apartment owner, and did not use any inappropriate language. Simply being substandard (Eligibility) and bullying (Abuse) are two completely different things.
Support is encouraged to double-check the following:
Please be aware that the ‘cursing and bullying’ reasons applied to the candidate were incorrectly applied by system error or reviewer’s mistake.
Please immediately delete the ‘Mild Violation Warning’ record left in my account due to an ‘Abuse’ decision that is not true.
As an honest contributor, I think it is very unfair to receive a warning action due to false reasons. I ask for your prompt confirmation and correction.
Can you post your warning email? Are you sure this rrjection trigger the warning? This rejection reason usually given for abuse of taking 3rd party foto but niantic lump them together with harrasment
This message was not from Niantic and was not part of the warning. This is just displaying rejection reasons from community reviewers. Some portion of community reviewers clicked ‘Abuse’ when they saw your nomination.

I do not receive a pop-up notification when logging in, but I received a warning email via Google Mail stating that a problem was found with the Wayfarer contribution(성원상떼빌5단지아파트 문주).
