The Convent of Mercy (also known as Mercedes Convent) is located on the school campus of Mercedes College as confirmed by the following link (refer Building 4) - https://www.mercedes.wa.edu.au/parent-resources/campus-map/. The religious order (Sisters of Mercy) vacated the convent in 2019 when they entrusted it to the school - refer to https://www.mercedes.wa.edu.au/convent-is-entrusted-to-mercedes-college-perth. The building is currently used by the school.

Whilst the convent building is historically relevant (built 1848), it still remains located on school grounds and is currently used as part of the operation of the school.

Based upon this additional information, please review your previous decision not to accept this rejection request.

@NianticLC Have you had the chance to consider this decision review yet?

This is on the campus of a school for those 18 and under. They list years 7-12, which would be middle and high school aged students. Because it’s on the school grounds, it’s ineligible.

Can’t say why staff haven’t responded yet, but hopefully they’ll take a look soon.

Thanks for the appeal, @BunchOfCarrots! After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
