I chose to go with my friend on a 3 day drive to Philadelphia for FAN EXPO Philadelphia 2026. We got to Philadelphia on a Wednesday and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Race Street and N Christopher Columbus Blvd. I walked while in Philadelphia and went by the United States Mint each day at least once. The last full day, I took a tour of the mint. Please understand that the United States Mint is either 3 or 4 stories. I believe 3 but might be incorrect. I did go and take a photo to submit with my second report. If I am appealing the other, please retrieve my photo. This is the entrance used by employers to enter the mint. A search in Google Maps does not find the Philadelphia Shoe Museum if one actually exists. This is what exists where the marker is. Please remove since no shoe museum exists at the employee entrance for the United States Mint.
Thank you,

It’s possible it was removed based on someone else’s report, as it is not showing on the wayfarer map near to this location.
Unfortunately, you can’t distinguish between “this report was rejected because we don’t agree with it” and “this report wasn’t actioned because the wayspot no longer exists”, since you get the same email for the two very different situations.
I did report two times. The first time I included no photo. The second time, I detoured to the Wayspot and did. Perhaps I caused this to be removed.
I know Ingress is part of a different company now but wish we could still submit invalid reports there. I know why we can’t.
I found a shoe museum nearby that “is located within the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine at 148 N. 8th Street”.
It seems that Niantic found it too, as this wayspot is now at 39.954668,-75.153513 (which is the location described above).
(Intel is still inaccurate - maybe some day we will get OPR back)
I believe I found that location too though unsure if that had anything to do with getting this to become a Wayspot when Ingress was still how things were done excluding Sponsored locations. I am still on vacation though between Knoxville and Nashville in Tennessee heading home. Getting a different location representing nothing removed while there and adding a photo to Magnolia Peace Mural on Race Street under I-95 and a successful nomination in Morgantown, WV, is enough.
