When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
Mostly it will have been rejected because it is just a lake. If there is no anchor, nothing to make the location you selected by special, then it will be normally rejected as not being distinct.
Specifically, during the review process, the narrative against Permanent and Distinct says “Is the location a permanent, physical, tangible, and identifiable place or object that placemarks an area?”
It is likely that your location did not placemark the area. Lakes in general are hard to get approved.
