recently a POI was removed in Rovaniemi, Finland. Reason for this remains unknown for now, as the POI is a mural on a pedestrian pathway that goes under Kuusamontie street, providing pedestrians and bikers a safe way to cross the busy road.
I am asking for the POI to be returned to Pokemon GO, as the yellow-blue mural still exists. It can also be accessed year around as the public streets and pedestrian pathways have winter maintenance. The POI used to be a showcase, but I understand if this feature cannot be restored. We would, however, still like the POI to be back in the game.

In the picture below you can see the exact location of the mural/pedestrian underpass on Google Maps.
Do you have photos to show that the mural exists? Streetview from Sep 2024 doesn’t show it, either because it didn’t exist them or because it is further inside the underpass than the images reach.
A video going from what is visible on streetview to the mural would also be good evidence, especially if it can be shown to be a video taken recently

I shall move this to the appeals section as you are appealing the reinstatement of a wayspot.
As has been mentioned up to date pictures with geolocation data are needed to demonstrate that the mural still exists.
One thing that doesn’t make complete sense is this having been a showcase, since it doesn’t exist in Ingress and showcases haven’t been added for a number of years (as far as I know).
This must mean it has separately been removed from Ingress (or was removed from both over a year ago, but the post implies this is a recent removal), which suggests a lack of malicious intent and also indicates that two separate teams both found strong evidence for removing the wayspot.
