Can I find out why the Pokestop “Momma Bear and Cub” that I set up on 3/29/24 under my contributions was suddenly removed today and if it can be resubmitted into the game?

Having looked at what I can see, there’s two things wrong with this. One is that it’s on private residential property. The other is that it seems to be a mass produced garden ornament that can easily be moved.
I’m honestly surprised this got accepted in the first place given that it’s quite clearly in someone’s front yard on street view. It is a correct removal and you should not attempt to resubmit it.
Thank you HankWolfman for your response. I’m just surprised because the Pokestop has been there for nearly 2 years and the sculpture is solid cement and weighs over 75 lbs. is there any way to know if there was a specific request have it removed by another player or the community?
Normally, no. The review process is not infallible but the checks and balances move to keep parties involved protected, that includes not disclosing the mechanism for removal.

Wayfarer are reviewed by community , so sometimes things like this can pass review process. But at the same time, community also can report it for removal if someone notice its not eligible
