Approved Appeal Not Appearing in Pokémon GO / Pikmin Bloom - Chuanchuan捲捲咖啡

Hello Niantic Team,

I am writing to report a synchronization issue regarding an approved appeal. My nomination for the Wayspot “Chuanchuan捲捲咖啡” was recently officially APPROVED via the appeal process, but it has not appeared in either Pokémon GO or Pikmin Bloom after the standard sync period.

Could a staff member please help check the Lightship database and trigger a manual sync for this location? Thank you!

Whilst I cannot speak for Pikmin Bloom, as I have no idea how that game chooses to use wayspots or when it syncs with the database, I do know the density rules used in Pokémon Go, and this isn’t eligible to become a Pokéstop or Gym because of those rules. It is in the same level 17 s2 cell as the Pokéstop “士林承恩堂”. Each level 17 s2 cell can only contain one Pokéstop or one Gym. It does look eligible to be added to the power spot rotation during next month’s sync though.

I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question. I know the in-game prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Web Submit form does use the word “wayspot” instead. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell.
