Been scouring the forum because I know this is a common topic and found the concensus a while back was that as long as a playground is outside of school grounds, it’s acceptable. Feels a little off to me, particularly the ones that are right next to the entrance. https://maps.app.goo.gl/yTWJ3hTh2dTuEeAH9
I tend to agree with you, it can be difficult sometimes to determine the boundaries of the school property and in the abscence of evidence provided by submitter, I would reject. That being said, I’m interested as well in the principle of playgrounds near/next to schools. As someone said in a previous topic, schools and pre-schools are meant to be safe places, and having wayspots placed right outside them can make them (feel) less safe.
Generally, finding the property lines or some equivalent proof has been the final determinant on this for staff (appeals, reports etc). So it’s about evidence of which territory this belongs to. I understand this isn’t equally easy to find (or sometimes is paywalled) for all countries and regions.
