Hi all, I’m new to Wayfarer and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with a nomination that has been automatically rejected. Is there a chance that with improvement it could go to review by users and potentially be accepted, or does it simply not fit the criteria well enough?

I don’t think the vending machine is doing this any favours or the fact that is a Farm Shop.
The Play Area should be able to be it’s own wayspot.
Are the benches set out to encourage people to socialise?
The Ice cream would encourage people to visit?

Generally, if you are talking about lots of interesting things near your submission in order to make a submission seem important, you’re probably submitting the wrong thing.
Submit the things that are actually interesting and meet criteria (Social, Exercise, Exploration).
As well as what @SlimboyFat71 mentioned, the iconic cow statue may be eligible.
The vending machine itself doesn’t meet any of the core criteria.

Ahh, gotcha, might be trying to do too much with the wrong Wayspot when there’s two better ideas at the same site

I’ve only just noticed where this is! It is coincidentally in the same neck of the woods as both people posting advice
This is a map of the cells. Each cell can have one active pokestop/gym.
Please don’t use this to misplace things, but only to work out what will be visible and where to locate something if it has a legitimate choice of locations.
Also, there is no streetview into the farm and ‘satellite’ is not helpful, so you may want to use the web submission process where you can provide up to 5 photos, as this way you can show people you have the correct location. In Pogo, you only have one supporting photo, which isn’t always enough.

Also, if you get two wayspots approved in separate cells, one of them will turn into a gym.
I did see that but after looking at the website I decided to stick to “Yummy Yorkshire”
Not sure how Iconic these actually are, you could buy 1 for your house if you wished and every farm shop / “Fresh from the farm ice cream place” has 1 …
My Recommendation.
- Print out a map.
- Visit the location.
- Buy an Ice cream.
- Think “That was nice, I am having another”.
- Set off home.
- Realise you didn’t do what you was suppose to.
- Return (resist another Ice Cream).
- Mark on Map possible nominations.
- Take images.
- Realise they do “take home” tubs.
- Fill the Freezer.
- Nominate “the best” chances from each cell.
- Nominate the others for back ups and possible power spots.
- You have now earned some of that Ice Cream from the Freezer…

Oh neat! It’s pretty in the middle of nowhere, but you’ll probably know that the extent of Wayfarer locations around here are mostly trail markers and churches then 
The map is really useful, thank you! Looks like the two potential stops will be in separate cells at least, though it is a little difficult to tell as the playground/seating area didn’t yet exist when this was captured… Will head to up to get accurate photos sometime soon!
Can’t argue that YY is the best place around for ice cream, but I do have to recommend MFTH for milkshakes if you’re ever passing

I do like farm shops. Love their bobble hats.
For wayspots do try to focus on one thing at a time. If they have some information boards about sustainability - educational material tgat would be good.
It’s fine to ask more here before you submit.
I was thinking that it could be a journey so doing all in 1 go would be the way to go, but as Ice Cream is involved maybe not

I’m looking to get a submission appealed also. I live in a small town and we have hardly anything on my side of town. The problem is I have a terminally ill child and can’t go out during sick season so when the weather isn’t nice we miss out on so many things in the game! A pokestop and a gym just close enough to play while he is laid up inside during sick season would help him feel like he is still a huge part of his community! Good luck getting it approved!

First, I would like to say that I am sorry to hear about your child. 
Unfortunately, the process of getting a wayspot does not work like that. All wayspots should meet the criteria. Sadly, There are some terrible people in the world that would easily lie about anything if it got them a “couch spot / gym”.
There is no way to guarantee a wayspot that can be spun from home so my only suggestion is to…
- Create a new post in “Nomination Support”.
- State that you are looking for suggestions for wayspots in your local area.
- Give a general location, it is highly recommended NOT to give you home address.
- People here will scour the maps and if there are any suitable locations they will inform you.
With a lot of luck you might just get that stop that can be spun from home but please do not build your hopes up.
