Can someone please check the grid for me? tysm!

I’ve had two spots accepted, but they don’t show in game yet, so I’m hoping to find out if the grid is the reason:

This one is newer, and is across a multi-lane road from the next closest stop. I nominated it because I liked the mural and it got accepted a few weeks ago. 45.499278, -122.643854

This one I nominated ages ago, last year I think, further up the same road, and for the same reason (I love a good mural or art pokestop, for some reason this entire road has a lot of trashcans as stops?? It’s weird.) 45.497795, -122.639416

I’ve read a ton of posts about how the L#/S2 cells work, but I have no idea how to find or use the grid I see people posting about to get this answer myself, so I’d love if someone could check for me!

We are not allow to share links to third party tools on the forum, but if you do an internet search for wayfarer tools, you should find them. The site for the ones I am using will also have a link to the Wayfarer Discussion Discord server, where you can talk about them and ask questions. A lot of the ambassadors are also on that site, fyi.

Thank you for checking! Super helpful. Such a bummer that two spots divided by an unsafe road can’t both be on the map though. It’s the same unsafe road in both locations, too, as Powell Blvd is technically a state highway: US Route 26.

The zoom on the map makes it hard to show a whole L14 in your area.

This one is one away from getting another gym, and it looks like there is a fitness gym in an empty L17 cell here that you could submit if the Google Maps label is correct.

(Standard disclaimer to only use cell knowledge to know where to look. Always submit where the point of interest actually exists.)

They look like interesting places, just the way the cell lines fall unfortunately.
They should qualify to enter the pool of wayspots that can be powerspots.

It is perfectly OK to have wayspots along the pavement/sidewalk of any road, provided the wayxspot is safely accessible on foot. Having a sidewalk is pretty basic for this, so it is very hard to describe the road as being unsafe when people are expected to be walking there.

Hello and Welcome,

If the safety issue is due to crossing the Highway then remember that you will be able to interact with the wayspots from the opposite sides.

Good Luck
