Hello. I’ve submitted a handful of waypoints, some approved and some not. The one that keeps stumping me is the submission for a safety kiosk in our area that doesn’t make it past the AI screening. There are a bunch of these across town as part of a safety initiative and a handful are already pokestops, so it seemed natural this would be added to the existing kiosks. I’m curious what is wrong with my submission that it keeps getting rejected. I’m assuming there’s either a correctable error in my submission or, the other approved kiosks should not have been added if they don’t meet criteria. If this is a dead in the water submission, that’s totally cool, just wanting to know why so I can be at peace and not keep resubmitting. Thanks.
Welcome to the forum!
In my opinion, this traffic safety rules information would just be infrastructure, and I would reject if I saw this in community review.
You have also made an irrelevant game reference to “trainers” in the description, which would be another reason to reject this.
The fact that some have been accepted already does not make this one eligible. What makes something eligible is if it is a great place for exercise, exploration, or being social.
If you feel that the “automated process” is making a mistake in denying these, you can appeal. We get 2 appeals, each on a 15 day counter before we can use it again. However I would not appeal this.
This is helpful. Thanks.
Glad you found us! Please ask lots of questions.
I find this page very helpful if you want to book mark it. Read through all four sections.
It will become second nature if you really get into submitting.
I think the biggest obstacle to overcome is realizing that you shouldn’t just submit what you see in game.
