give it a few days. we only get 2 appeals a month if I’m remembering right.
You get two appeals every 15 days. However I would not waste an appeal on a welcome sign. These don’t really fit the criteria.
Sometimes they are accepted, as some local pool of reviewers may find them eligible, but I doubt wayfarer staff will agree during appeal.
Your best chance in my opinion would be to resubmit (but don’t expect it to be approved)
In my experience the “standard metal sign on posts” usually get rejected.
Locally we have signs attached to large stone plinth and to large boulder accepted.

Welcome signs are allowed - they are not a definitely-ineligible type of thing. This doesn’t mean they will be accepted and they are definitely not a guaranteed submission.
Ask yourself how they meet Social, Exercise or Exploration Criteria?
Most welcome signs don’t. People don’t notice them except when driving through a place.
Some do, because they have artistic merit. Even then, you would need a much better photo than this, which was taken from a long way away and doesn’t have the sign as the focus.
The Welcome sign also has issues with safety. If there is a sidewalk nearby or supporting photos that can clear this up submit the photo WITH this.
