It appeara on the map and community contribution. There arent a bunch around it is there any way for it to get appealed?

If it is already on the map in the correct location, then there is nothing you can do to make it appear in Pokemon Go. You may want to read this: Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)
If you leave the location, someone will be able to check if this seems to be the issue.
