These are getting accepted, because I’m seeing them on the nearby.
Title: Cranfield University Baroness Young Hall Block 1 Sign
Description: Part of the Baroness Young Hall student accommodation complex, this building serves as housing for university students. The modern design and clear green sign make it an easily identifiable landmark within the campus environment.
Are signs marking accommodation blocks actually suitable as wayspots? They’re just name signs for buildings and I’ve seen a fair few in the review queue.

Personally I would not vote positively for these Halls.
They are basically flats a place to eat, sleep, study. Therefore not a place that meets eligibility criteria.
A sign is acting as a marker for the whole building so not eligible for same reasoning.
The exception being if there is something at these places that does meet criteria. Typically this may be an outdoor or indoor social space a common room or outdoor seating area. Most don’t have gyms as there is often a dedicated sports building. There may be some art but rare. A specific case would need to be made for the facility. And the whole nomination would be about that facility.
That’s how I would approach them.

I didn’t see any attempt to do that with these submissions. They were entirely focussed on the sign & the building.

I have had these for review and Rejected them for the reasons stated by @elijustrying & @salixsorbus above.
I have noticed on the last few that a couple had got through as shown in the “possible duplicate” thumbnails.
Unfortunately, I see these as the sort of waypoint that once in staff are reluctant to remove.
One of the “does not meet criteria to accept, does not meet criteria to remove” which I have never understood since day 1 of wayfaring
Hopefully a member of staff will take another look and take action where required.
Good luck.
I believe that in the US we call these dorms or resident halls. If they are the same, where students live, then no, I don’t find them acceptable, unless they have historical value or unique architechure, something else that may make them eligible.
Just another case of “Signfarer” striking again, too. But, alas, they don’t meet removal criteria.
Halls of residence exactly as you think. Signs nice and new but nothing else. They are getting accepted.
