All my nominated PokeStop in my location have been denied. There is a lot of PokeStop and gym half of kilometers away from my location that’s why I want to have a pokemon and gym near in my House but all was rejected. .sounds like you are depending other requests.. well I think it’s time for me and my team to quit playing this game.. damn you Niantic
Welcome to the forum! If you are here to vent and leave, that’s fine, but if you want feedback on what makes an acceptable nomination, we can help. The first place to start is to learn the criteria. You can’t just submit what you see in game. A great link for all the criteria is here: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/21-wayfarer/section/166-wayspot-criteria/
Unfortunately, it isn’t always possible to get a Pokestop or gym where you want them. Even if the point of interest is eligible, and the location is eligible, there are density rules. You can read about what the community has discovered about S2 cells here: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
If you truly don’t understand why something was rejected, you can post screenshots of the contribution from your contributions page https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations and we can try to advise.
To add to what has been said, part of the Pokémon GO experience is going out and exploring different areas and PokéStops, not sitting at home spinning a couch stop.
If you want to play Pokémon at home, Nintendo has made a bunch of Pokémon games for their home consoles.
Thank you for not accept my nominated spot near my place.. so how can we enjoy playing the game when we are at home? We love playing Pokemon go but now I don’t think we still playing this game.. thank you for not accepting my nomination
You need to remember that this is a game called Pokemon Go and has at its heart the idea of going out and exploring. Very few people can have a legitimate couch wayspot.
Stopping playing due to getting one nomination rejected is an over-reaction, which you are perfectly entitled to do, but you are not entitled to getting a wayspot by your home. It might have been rejected incorrectly, but probably not. If you want help finding if there is anything nearby that is eligible, you can ask.
Hello,
I am going to move this to nomination support as appeals are for specific admin cases.
I understand your frustration at getting a rejection every experienced fellow wayfinder here will have had that happen to them.
Wayfarer is about finding eligible things and places, recording them by creating a wayspot. That wayspot may then be selected for the game. Which is great that you can put things in a game.
Wayfarer is not about creating a wayspot just to have something in game where an individual wants it. If you keep that line of thinking then you will continue to be frustrated.
If the wayspot you submitted was not eligible then the reviewers did the right thing rejecting it. If they do not reject when they should they will not get the agreements which are the “reward” for doing things correctly, so please respect their decision.
If you would like help to look for eligible things nearby then please do let us know the approx area so we could help use google to explore and make suggestions. We would love to help improve the game board where you can play.
***edit I am merging this with your other post.
Not wayfarer related advice but in terms of how I play both out and about and from home, I do different things in different places.
At home I open gifts, play PvP, and raid remotely. When I’m out and about, I spin stops and catch stuff, and hatch eggs.
So it’s perfectly possible to play the game at home in an enjoyable way without any stops or gyms nearby as long as you interact with stuff when you do go out.
My wayfarer recommendation is to focus on submitting all the places you like to go to when you’re outside - parks, cafes, restaurants, gym, swimming pool, climbing wall, shopping centre, cinema, social spaces at the office, community noticeboards.. etc. You don’t need stops at home as you can interact with stuff while you’re going about your daily life.
I nominate a public place where a lot of people came everyday! But you chose to deny. My concern here is why the other PokeStop in our area seems like 50 meters away from the other. Simple and new place and not historical but why approved then? Compare to my nominated spot? Then what is your fundamentals of accepting my nominations? If you want to make your game to be more interesting to new generation you must be more generous of everything! Is it hard for you to add more PokeStop just to make other players to enjoy? Is it cost you a lot?
That’s not very polite, especially as I likely never saw your nominations!!
If you would like advice, please share the nominations in full, so we can see if there are any recommendations we can help with
You are responding to a fellow wayfarer, just like you. A member of the wayfarer community who probably plays Pokemon Go, submits wayspots and reviews them.
Hello and Welcome,
I am sorry that you are feeling hard done by within Wayfarer but there is no easy way to say this but the problem “usually” lies with the submitter.
I strongly advise reading the links posted above by @cyndiepooh .
Remember that any nomination must meet the criteria set out by Niantic. This is the same for you, me and anybody else that wants to partake in Wayfarer.
My recommendations if you decide you want to continue…
-
One of the best bits of advice I saw here is to not think “I want a pokestop here” and start thinking “what would make a great wayspot”.
-
If after reading the links you think that some of your nominations meet the criteria please post the details in “Nomination Support” including images / Title / Description / Supplemental and Location. People here will advise but you have to accept that the advice could be “Great - Nominate Now”, “This will not be accepted because…” or “It has a chance with changes”.
-
Alternatively post the general location (DO NOT use your home address, use a park, town centre or crossroads). People will scour the maps and give suggestions. Again you have to be aware that some areas just don’t have anything to nominates.
Once you read the link on S2 Cells this will be clearer. The proximity rules do allow pokestops / gyms to be extremely close as long as they are in different cells. You can get 4 wayspots close as long as they are in the corners…
Maybe a break would be best for you but remember when / if you decide to return be respectful and we will be happy to help you.
Good Luck.
