As Waferrer is reorganized, I see too many requests for positioning. I had to judge more than 10 positioning requests for one stop. All of them were applications for moving to similar places, and there was no problem with selecting any point. However, in this case, if the final decision on the candidate is delayed (even though the location is similar), the final decision on the candidate is delayed, and the applicants take a lot of time to know the results. I think this is a waste of considerable amount of time that is not beneficial to anyone.
It is urgent to solve this problem, and I think applicants should take action against the candidates under review among the candidates they submitted so that the judges do not have to rush to conduct unnecessary screening.
In the past, dozens of requests for modifications to one stop were made frequently because the process of applying for movement/ adding photos was unknown, and these are now pouring into the reviewers like garbage.

That’s almost as annoying as all the LDS edits

My theory is that when people weren’t getting resolutions to their location edits, they were resubmitting them, thinking the submission had been lost when we could not see them on our contributions page. I have seen reports of edits from 2020 finally being resolved. Niantic has been taking some into internal voting and deciding them, plus we are able to upgrade edits now. My hope is that once these suggestions already in the system get decided, we won’t have this issue going forward. At least, not to this extent.
[edit: lol I just saw the “two months later” note. I have no idea why this came to the top of my suggested topics just now.]
