Such edits constitute a violation known as “Wayspot reuse.”
We are not allowed to alter a Wayspot that was originally a gazebo into something else.
The correct procedure is to first remove that Wayspot, and if the location now meets the eligibility criteria for a different type of Wayspot, we must resubmit a recommendation for it.
However, in the game, the base should have moved to a Wayspot at a different location as soon as the original one was removed.
