Hello,
Just a suggestion and to see whether others agree…
When editing Titles / Descriptions within Pokemon Go should it give an option to add additional information on why it should be changed.
I ask as I edited the Title and Description of a local cricket club…
The description went through quickly as it was previously blank.
The Title is still “In Queue” approx 10 days later.
Searching the clubs official site and FB I have only found one old post that mentions it by the name “in game”, a banner shown on one of the photos showing the name is no longer there. It seems that the name used in game was due to a short term sponsorship deal that is no longer relevant.
Mentioning the above in the “Edit” would help reviewers and hopefully speed up the process.
TIA.

I would love this option. They have added a text box to add context to an in game report fairly recently, so maybe this is coming?
It would need to be an option in PoGo and Ingress, not just PoGo. I recently made it to L8 in Ingress and submitted a description edit via that game yesterday for a local restaurant. ML approved it, so there was no need for additional info.
Actually, I think additional info wouldn’t be a bad thing for location edits either. And others have noted that they’d like something like this.
Should be an option for all edits, even if it was just “spelling error”, “moved to Entrance” it would give the reviewer a clue to what they are looking at.
On a similar note allow reviewers to enter there own when neither are correct. I see quite a few where there is an obvious better title / description but it has a typo.
Never sure whether to select the better description with a typo, the poorer one with no error or neither…
I don’t like this option, because it could keep the edit from being decided if people keep adding different choices. But agree that is very frustrating to try to choose the lesser of two evils, and glad we can skip.
[Edited to add that I never choose the none option because I don’t think I can get an agreement on that. I would rather skip.]
