I recently received an email warning regarding one of my Wayspot nominations. However, I believe this warning is a false positive caused by a discrepancy between outdated satellite imagery and actual ground truth at the location.
Coordinates: 9.626906, 106.018007
The Issue: The default Google Maps satellite view for this area is outdated, showing the location as an empty field or farmland. Because of this, reviewers or automated systems might incorrectly flag valid nominations as fake or non-existent locations.
The Evidence: If you check the updated map layers (such as Esri), the temple complex, structures, and stone courtyards are fully visible, which completely matches my nomination photos.
Attached Evidence:
Nomination Photos: Showing the eligible object (the detailed stone structure) at the location.
Intel / Map Comparison: Demonstrating how the area looks on the map data versus the actual structure layout.
Could the team or experienced members advise on how to handle or prevent false warnings caused by outdated background map data? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

What warning did you receive?
Warnings cannot come from reviewers. They also cannot come directly from a rejection, but are a result of Scopely checking the submission themselves.
When I am submitting a wayspot that cannot be verified on streetview/google aerial images (as appropriate for the POI, for example a playground only needs to visible on aerial images), I make sure I am providing extra information to assist reviewers.
I happen to have the ability to create and upload photospheres using archaic software. Without that, I would use web submit, where you can provide up to 5 supporting photos, and use those photos to link the location to streetview/aerial images.
