Feedback from a Rural Player: Infrastructure Upgrades, New Medals, and Gift Scaling

Hi everyone,As a passionate rural Pokémon GO player, I would love to share a few constructive suggestions to improve the game balance, especially for players outside big cities.1. Infrastructure for Rural Players (Comparison with Monster Hunter Now)Although there are great XP bonuses, it remains incredibly difficult for rural players to complete high-level level-up requirements, such as winning 100 Max Battles or completing 500 Field Research tasks. In games like Monster Hunter Now, there are many resources and “gathering points” in areas where Pokémon GO has absolutely nothing. Adding more PokéStops and Power Spots to rural areas—perhaps using alternative mapping algorithms—would help balance the game and make these quests achievable for everyone.2. New Platinum Medals for Level-Up RequirementsThe Platinum Medal requirements for higher levels block progress for many players. Adding new medals that reward skill and daily activity would make the game much fairer for rural players, as these do not depend on living in a high-density city. Suggestions for new medals:Excellent Throws landedGifts opened / sentTotal raid damage dealtAttacks dodged in raids/gymsTotal Shiny Pokémon caught3. Increasing the Daily Gift Opening LimitSince the friend limit was raised to 650, the daily limit for opening gifts feels outdated. It would be an amazing quality-of-life update if the opening limit was increased permanently, so players can actually interact with their larger friend lists and stock up on items when PokéStops are scarce.I would love to hear what the community and the team think about these adjustments!Best regards,A passionate rural player

Hello and welcome @Essah92

That is quite a set of ideas that you have for game play.
However this forum is only concerned with issues around wayfarer.
So we can help with suggestions for things to nominate that might become pokestops or gyms using the current selection system.
So we are quite limited in what we can discuss.
We do have a topic that covers suggestions for rural submissions if you would like some ideas:

And if you would like specific help please do open a post in Nomination Support
In the meantime I shall close this topic.
Good luck with your general ideas.
