I mistakenly broke the guidelines not realising the photos I submitted were against tos (taken photos from google) as the venues were packed with people so I couldn’t take decent photos.
I’ve since taken the time to familiarise myself with the guidelines and have definitely learned a thing or two.
Do I need to do anything or do I just accept the first warning and move on and learn from my mistakes?
Hello and Welcome @WillyRanga
Its not always clear where the best place is to post so I will move this to nomination support.
That is an area where we can help fellow wayfinders to nominate better.
Was yours a low severity warning? or was it actually a step on the enforcement ladder? The email will help explain.
It is good that you now realise the issue and what to do. As long as you stay within all the guidelines there shouldn’t be any issue.
If you have any doubts then simply ask and we will help clarify.
You have done the right thing. The warning has done what it was intended to do and you are now better acquainted with the rules about photos
Admittedly, you probably now have a flag on your profile, so any further infractions will be dealt with more seriously, but as long as you are submitting real things and not attempting to abuse the system, this won’t cause an issue.
The one year part is in the section about the “Redemption Period.” Also:
We understand that mistakes can happen and believe in giving second chances. We want to encourage users to learn from their errors and become valuable contributors to the Wayfarer community.
If its 1 day warning, it will pop up everytime you login and it will look like this. Anyway please be careful because next strike might be 30days suspension (depending on severity) in all scopely games (including pogo).
