Today I received an unexpected upgrade, I was at 70%, a few minutes later I received an upgrade and progress was at 76%. Any ideas on how this happened?
Hello and welcome,
I would check to see how many agreements you now have. If there is an increase in agreements, it’s possible that a good amount of reviews that you did were decided upon, and you received an upgrade.
Keep in mind that for every agreement, you get 1% added to your upgrade bar. So, when you get 100 agreements, you’ll get 1 upgrade.
Thank you, yes I also checked the number of agreements, nothing strange happened there (improved only a little bit in those minutes).
And also, every day my number of upgrades matched the progress on the wayfarer medal in Pokemon Go. But now I have 1377 agreements and 15 upgrades (and my wayfarer rating has been for a long time, and still is “great”).
Hi @pokemaster4u2
Welcome to the forum
How did you realized your upgrade?
The “congrates you earned an upgrade” message is when I remember correct only on the showcase side shown. If you havn’t visited that side for a while it could perhaps be the message of your last earned upgrade?
Another thing to note is that edits count towards upgrades, but are not included as agreements. If you have done a good deal of edit reviews as of late and those have been resolved, this could have also resulted in an upgrade.
I’ve really started to actively review a couple of weeks ago, with the goal to achieve the platinum medal in pokemon go. I’ve noticed that there are 3 ways I can spot a new upgrade:
- as I know that once I reach 1500 agreements, I will also have earned at least 15 upgrades (I know only agreements count with a rating of good or great). So I monitor my upgrades very closely, today I went from 13 to 15 upgrades
- I also always see a warning message when I check my profile, when I check my progress
- And off course the progress itself, once the bar hits 100, it will reset
The last weeks I’ve done probably approx 100 reviews per day. So I expect an upgrade every other day.
Maybe that is what caused it, I’ve done many of those the last week
Yep, that could do it.
If you want to see how many edits you have received agreements on, there is a browser extension from Wayfarer Tools that shows extended stats. Once installed, you would want to change the agreement count type from simple to upgrade count, and anything listed in the Other Agreements will now show a number instead of zero, and these are the edit agreements you’ve received.
We can’t post the link to the tools here in the forums, but searching for Wayfarer Tools should bring them up.
