Hi, I haven’t been on in a few years and now I need more medals!
I did about 200 nominations yesterday (only 1 rejection!) and about 25 were accepted. I’m currently at Novice level and I don’t see “Good” or “Great” status anywhere on my profile.
I wanted to know if the Good or Great status to get counts toward the medal are now called “Apprentice” and “Explorer”.
Welcome to the forums
These ratings changed recently and your knowledge is now out-of-date. Please have a look at New Wayfinder Rating System!

Hey @LuckyStrStreamr ,
Welcome back to Wayfarer, and congrats on your accepted nominations!
We recently rolled out a major update to the Wayfinder Rating system, retiring the old “Poor / Fair / Good / Great” tiers completely.
In their place, they introduced a brand new 5-level system that only moves forward, meaning you no longer have to worry about your rating dropping due to unexpected disagreements. The new tiers are:
- Novice
- Apprentice
- Explorer
- Expert
- Champion
Previously, agreements only counted toward your in-game Wayfarer medal when your profile status was at “Good” or “Great.”
With the new system, all agreements now count toward your medal progress starting from the very first tier (Novice). Any agreements you earned during past windows when your account might have been at a lower rating are now permanently credited to your medal total.
You can read more about the new rating system here.
I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need any other assistance.
Happy exploring!
Hello, and welcome to the forums.
I’m just trying to work out what you meant by ‘did about 200 nominations yesterday’. Normally when someone is talking about doing nominations, they mean submitting them, but I guess that can’t be your case if you are only Novice? Novice users are limited to having 10 submissions…
If you did 200 reviews yesterday, and only 1 of them was a rejection, then that would be a… very unusual ratio of approve:reject, and makes me concerned you may be accepting some things which should be rejected. If you are accepting things which other people reject, you aren’t getting the agreements and your medal progress will be slower. As you are a novice reviewer, I would suggest you look at the Help Articles, including the Rejection Criteria and the Forum Criteria Discussions Library.
