Great Britain (UK) PO Joint Posts - whats the go?

I have seen a couple of reviews come in for 1970s Post Office Telecommunication Joint Towers. Grey, metal post, attached to wall/house/complex with letters PO on them

They looked like this (image from this website G.P.O. Jointing Post)

This image makes the reviews I have seen look good. Basically the examples have been of old, tatty, no longer used utility post that is falling to pieces. Basically old cable joint box that should have been removed at some point but has been left to rot.

Well written description mind. Often exactly the same. Year made, what made of and what used for..

Sadly my screen grab did not take. Otherwise I would include here..

But any thoughts from UK based people

These and the simple GPO markers I see are just standard utility locations/ street furniture.
So I vote to reject.
