How long does it usually take for wayfarer to accept or decline a pokestop/gym nomination

Voting time can vary on a number of things:
- If there are a lot of things nominated in your area it can take awhile
- If there aren’t very many people reviewing in your area it can take longer
- A borderline location/poi can cause voting to take longer
it seems like voting now ranges from a few weeks to a month or so in times past, it could take a couple years.

To avoid any future letdown, be aware that you don’t actually submit a pokestop/gym nomination. The prompt is poorly worded, but we submit wayspots. The community has found that whether an accepted wayspot becomes a Pokestop or gym depends on S2 cells. Also, you can’t nominate a gym. Pokestops (that are live in game) are selected by an automated process to be upgraded to a gym based on population density rules. In other words, a gym is an upgraded pokestop.
