Hello! Thank you for reviewing this appeal. This Wayspot was recently removed, likely because the original “Skate zone” has been undergone a full renovation and has been replaced by a new playground/children’s recreation area.
Since the location still serves as a perfect spot for exercise and social gathering, I would like to ask if it is possible to restore the Gym and update its information to reflect the current state of the location.

This is considered “repurposing” by Niantic when the original point of interest is not the same thing that was approved originally, and is not allowed. The only exception is a mural, which can be updated if the same wall is repainted with a new mural.
You can submit the new point of interest there as a new Wayspot if it meets criteria.
You can submit a new wayspot at the rebuilt recreation area. Depending on the number of nearby wayspots, a replacement gym may have already appeared or might appear after a new wayspot is accepted. The gym is chosen sort-of at random.
Hmm. That cell already has two wayspots, one is the new playground, so there is nothing to submit. The S2 L14 cell has more than 6 active wayspots but only one gym.
