Hi, my nomination got rejected both automatically and then after an appeal and I don’t really get why.
The place I nominated is like a toy garden where every season people bring their unused toys and either nail them to the tree or tie to the bush (on the pictures). Looks really curious and different every season depending on the foliage and new additions. Locals call it the Toy cemetery and it’s a locally famous point of interest. But the appeal got rejected on the grounds of the place being not unique? Don’t know any other place like this. Can you help me understand what I did wrong with this nomination?

Are there any websites which mention this? It isn’t mandatory, but it would help. I think it is interesting and eligible, but it is obviously difficult to get accepted.

No, it’s kind of word of the mouth thing for our area. I hoped photos from different seasons would help to prove realness but alas
This definitely looks interesting but you need proof to back up your claim. I have some concern about it.:
- There are no street view and satelite view is not helping
- There are kindergarden nearby
- Without any website to proof your claim, this might be seen as fake nomination. Alternately it might be seen as homemade attempt to create wayspot
Oh well, I cant really think of any other way to prove it. I’m from the city 30km from the frontline so I can’t even create a spot on google maps as creation and commenting have been blocked since 2022 in the city.

Sorry to hear that. But since many people submit fake nomination, people are getting sceptical over nomination like this. Without location proof, submitter can put nomination anywhere with same description, so reviewer might doubt it. Stay safe btw
You put together a very good submission. Details and plenty of photos, which should help alleviate concerns about it being homemade (just to get a pokespot). Unfortunately, the lack of images on google/apple to validate it are always going to make it harder get accepted, as does the lack of any information to link to.
You could simply retry. It’s not blatantly ineligible so it should not be seem as spamming.
If you are able to take a video of the entire area (showing all the various toys and also that it isn’t school property) and upload this somewhere, this might help. If you could post that into this thread, it might mean Niantic take a second look at the appeal.

When you do video, i suggest you to record all nearby building or any visible landmark from satelite. It will help reviewer confirm the location. You can upload the video somewhere else and post the link here
Ok, the map point that can definitely be confirmed on maps is Автозапчастини TIR (R6P9+3P Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhia Oblast), I started video from this point, no pause and ended up at where my pokestop had been suggested (47.834466, 35.220734). I checked and I think my way on video can be pretty easily tracked on map

We are told that if we strongly disagree with appeal result to post in forum. Staff might see and sometimes overturn the decision quietly but nothing is guaranteed. You have done good work proofing the location(the store is very good starting point). I expect more toy though. If nothing happen in several days, you can try resubmit or move on.
I saw playground on 0:49. Why dont you submit it? I dont see it in wayfarer yet. This video can be used to proof it. You can use similar method to proof the location of other submission in future

There are more toys inside the foliage and garden behind the low fence but I wasn’t ready to go deep in formal work suit xD
About tge playground: I know from a friend that a queue in the city is pretty long (like there’s stuff in queue/voting from march or something) and I wanted the toy pokestop to be my first one. So that’s why I’m pretty insistent on getting it ahead of anything else I’ll submit in the future
