Location obstructs the driveways of emergency services or may interfere with the operations of fire stations, police stations, hospitals, military bases, industrial sites, power plants, or air traffic control towers
basically industrial areas are bad except maybe if they have smoke break gazebo or an educational exhibit where people can stop and socialize or explore.

If historical places get a location then historical vehicles should get a place cant have one without the other i would think okay if it was still running that okay but that not moving anytime soon
A historical piece of machinery or vehicle that is on permanent display at a fixed location can be eligible. Signage is helpful but not required. I have successfully submitted historical buildings that lacked any special signage. I could see the same being done for a vehicle or machine on permanent display at a fixed location. The keys here are a good description and using supporting information to substantiate its relevance, or cultural/historical import.

“Nowhere near” a driveway is very subjective. Not everyone may agree with that. Generally, I would tell someone to avoid anything on the grounds of an emergency services location.
In this case, that your possible POI is behind fencing whose purpose is to keep people away from the machine will raise questions and doubts about safe pedestrian access. Simply getting near to the object is not good enough.

The questions people have been asking you are designed to make you think. They are not designed to make you look or feel dumb. This technique is called the Socratic method. Instead of just giving people answers, we are trying to help new ones understand the system the way a reviewer does. Something can be very clear in a submitter’s mind but not to the reviewer. So as the submitter, you have to think “How would I review this if i had never been to this spot and seen this item before? How would i explain it to get them to see its value as a Wayspot.”
So when we keep asking you to give us more information about how it meets criteria, we are trying to build skills in you. We aren’t trying to make fun of you. From the beginning we could have given you the answer that this is not eligible, but we believe you will become a better Wayfinder if YOU figure that out through our conversation rather than just being told. We want you to learn the system and be able to apply what you have learned to other items and locations, not just get a list of what things are eligible and what things are not eligible. Wayfarer is about nuance.

It all good It over and done with now but keep in mind next time some people have all different learning disorder and we all have ways to learn and remember stuff. I’ve been a firefighter for over 10 year so I understand the emergency service side all to well but I only ask for advice because I new to all this and wanted to learn but

I have been wondering about this… one of my local fire departments has a display room containing a historic fire truck (like 1950s era), attached to an active fire station but well away from the driveways/active entrances…
An intentional display room which they expect visitors to come to in order to look at the displays would generally be eligible and approved. Some reviewers would reject anything in a fire department on principle, but such a sweeping generalisation would be unlikely to be the majority view. Each wayspot should be evaluated on its own merits.
