Housing area with suspicions amount of approved POI

Recently I reviewed some submission near this area (1.496239,103.932205), Jalan Eko Tropical 1/10, and found out this areas looks suspicions.
Without google street view, I can not verify those submissions are real or not. But with satellite view, some detail of POI photo shows quite obvious difference. Eg red rooftop in photo but satellite show only blue rooftop around that area, some with large and green backgrounds, but the pin location via satellite view show housing area. This areas seen too good to be truth, maybe the google satellite are outdated, I am not sure. Maybe any wayfarer who live nearby can make a trip to this areas help us verified? As Fake nominated POI are quite serious problem and we shouldn’t allowed it.

With the cell lines turned on, this is how the wayspots look. Purely from this, it looks like a lot of abuse although I did find one that matches to the aerial images (misplaced: Eko Tropika 1 Gazebo 1.493747,103.931151). This is circumstantial evidence and I don’t know if Niantic can act.

Yep. Most look like they were stolen from a park. This one definitely was.

“Garden pergola walkway” 1.497442, 103.932884 is actually located in the park at 1.475107,103.904295 which is across town.

Thanks for finding that.

I think most of the submissions in this area are photo taken from nearby park. Here another examples

I do manually submitted a few report of duplicate on these POI, and few of the removal request are approved already. I do suspects that others POI submitted by the same person are using the same technique (using photo from other places and submitted on wrong location). But due to the limitation on google street view, I cannot find valid evidence against it. Hope the wrong doing person/s received their deserved punishments.

It would be worth combining these into a single report of abuse. I would include the ones that have already been removed, as this will point Niantic towards the submitters and may mean they check all the other ones.
