I nominated a barber-shop pole (one of those spinning ones) yesterday, but it received an automatic rejection. It just says “declined for not adhering to wayfarer criteria”, but no further explanation.
The text i wrote about it was short, should I have been more elaborating?
A spinning barbershop-pole is NOT common here. When we drove by it, my 15 year old son pointed out that he has never seen one before.
We are in Denmark, and there has always been a fascination with usa and Americana - just like “classic American diner” is considered an experience.
In my description, i pointed out that this was a classic piece of Americana, and therefor unique for this place.
I will be appealing (first time), but it’s hard to figure out what to focus on, when I don’t fully understand the reason for det decline.
