muötiple of my trailmarkers have been denied for being not permanent.or distinct and I’d love for some action to be taken to reprimand or educate them on the legibility of trailmarkers as it requires multiple no votes for it to be denied for that no?
If you disagree with the review result, you can appeal in wayfarer web. You have 2 appeals each with 15 days cooldown.
Yes, it takes multiple rejections with lots of reviewers picking “not permanent and distinct” to get that rejection.
The rejection reason “not permanent and distinct” comes up in three situations:
* reviewers did not think the object is permanent
* reviewers did not think the object is distinct
* reviewers did not think the object meets any criteria (exercise, explore, social) and wanted to explicitly reject it, so reject for not “permanent and distinct” because that is the advice from Niantic
Not all trail markers are eligible. If you want advice on why these were rejected, please post the details. They might be eligible; they might not be - it depends entirely on the submission.
It’s just that it’s been so many now in a short span that it will take ages to appeal all of them and I can’t resubmit many either.
Maybe if you post a rejected nomination, we can narrow down what is causing reviewers to review that way? They may be ones that Niantic has specially noted are “just nodes” and reviewers are reviewing these properly.
I don’t really need advice as I know they are legible as I have submitted multiple Trailmarkers before but here if you want to see one of the many https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/XERCU7ANDDOlYDDTm9SlFOsYCDR3n9GORFa0EkKrg6ycOfFvx3v9c-ytmLD5V7SMrTg8psqlzHRDWmn7cV0Zb31gO_lKLf52hjB4LPU=s0
It’s a trail on the beaches brushes and it is marked by posts with white and yellow coloured blaze
heard. you can use help chat to report what you see as abuse. it will not reverse the decision.
Apologies, I misunderstood.
You can report poor reviewing behaviour if you think it is abusive, but it won’t reverse your rejections. Your view of poor reviewing might not match how Niantic perceive it.
Thanks for guiding me to the right outlet to tell them of this poor reviewing behavior, is it criteria issues or what is the correct pathway for the help bot?
There is no obvious route for reporting that wayfarers not accepting your submission is abuse.
@cyndiepooh you circled Wayspot Edits, but clearly meant to circle the item below
no i borrowed a screenshot from @elijustrying who had it circled. i figured it still showed the options.
