This information board got rejected by Niantic for “The submission may obstruct access to emergency or critical services. For example, hospitals, military bases or utility sites”
I mentioned multiple times in the supporting text that there is additional space in front of the information board as seen in the supporting images, I also mentioned it multiple times in the appeal text, but it seems like that Niantic isn’t even reading that text.
If anyone wants to take a look himself (51.453193, 11.804434) There is streetview available which makes it perfect to review.
This is my first post here because I seem it really annoying that Niantic denies this, so if someone wants to take a look at this I would really appreciate it. Maybe some Niantic employee can take a look at this aswell

I’m pretty sure the appeals staff read what you wrote, it’s just that their decision was different than you expected.
The team also reads the posts here, so it’s a good place to post.
They may decide that the appeals process was not handled as expected and reverse the decision - they don’t post you just get an email. Or they might decide there is nothing that warrants reversal.

In my view I get what you are saying about the area directly in front of the info board. However that area is right next to the exit/entrance. So it does not look like a good place for a wayspot in my view. But there may be other views, so much of wayfarer is about judgement calls a lot of grey areas.
Personally I would be really hesitant to have a waypoint that close to the main driveway where all the fire and emergency trucks exit. While technically a large group of people could stand by this sign playing a game, the risk that they get in the way or have cars in the way is really high. This road is really tight and it looks like it would be hard for the firetrucks to make the turn even with out the possibility of other cars parked nearby. Google Maps

I’d like to point out that, theoretically, you don’t have to cross the street once you stand in front of the infoboard, as I show in the two pictures—which means you won’t be obstructing emergency responders. It will be safely possible to walk there.
You can also see the information board from the sidewalk across the street and access it in game, just in case. (just like I did when I took the supporting photos)
Also I mean the infoboard is not just there for players, also just for regular people who are interested in the local fire department etc.
I will be waiting for Niantic now to see what they might say, but in my opinion its safe to access as I mentioned here now but of course I understand if other people disagree with me 
Just a reminder that Wayspots are eligible to serve multiple games. While Pokemon Go currently has ~daily syncs and the others are manual, it does not mean that each current/future game has the same interaction radius and dynamics.
I believe this is why Niantic wants to make sure that the location of the wayspot itself does not interfere with emergency services.
