I have a few similar parks quite close to each other in my area. How do you usually make separate nominations for them so they don’t get rejected as duplicates or too similar? Should i try to use geotagged photos or something similar?
Is it possible to share full detail of your nomination? (Title, foto, information, locarion, etc)
I think those park should be visible from the satelite. Can i ask whats separating them and how far the distance? If its close, perhaps its actually part of same park?
i haven’t made these nomination yet, just wanted to ask before i made the nomination to prevent a ban or something
Is it really park or just multiple green patch here and there? I am still grasping the concept here.
In general it will only considered abuse if you spam low quality nomination.
Submitting potentially eligible POI will never result in a ban unless the submitter is making serious mistakes. The most common example is misplaced locations, which is just about the only semi-accidental thing that people do. Almost everything else that results in a suspension is deliberate abuse.
The location of these parks (coordinates) would really help with giving advice.
Basically there are 2 small garden/parks which are divided. One has some trees. The other park is sort of divided by some hedges with a small path of grass connecting. This one has a small circular hedge in one part and the other part has 1-2 trees and is mostly empty.
There is also a much bigger park with some similar trees in the middle. All have a similar design/appearance and are close by but far enough to be considered different parks since they are connected by a sort of gravel paved road. Not sure i want to give exact coordinates here due to privacy reasons.
What is the size of each space? How far apart are the spaces? Do they have any features for visitors - benches, bins, signs?
You dont have to give location. But understand that the advise will be limited. In general ,if you really believe they to be eligible, you are free to submit them. If its rejected appeal them. If its rejected by appeal staff, step back and rethink.
Anyway, if the park have nothing but green patch, it might not be eligible
Would have to see if i can find any signs but there are some benches in one of these, with trees in the other. Also there are different building in the background if it will help?
The buildings only help with identification. Without a location, it’s hard to say anything more than @TjoeMi said just above.
Will having a geotagged photo with exact coordinates as a part of the submission help? This could show they are different enough and far apart to count as seperate
If they are clearly visible in satelite, i dont think you need them. Park usually big enough to be seen from satelite. I dont think you would have issue with location proof. The problem is whether you gonna have anchor to nominate the park. The one with bench can be used to nominate one park. The other park seems more desolate from what you say and might be harder
thanks for the advise
