I submitted a location for a Pokestop that has become popular for local hiking, walking the dogs, biking, exploring, etc, with Historical interest. I was approved but how do I know if or when it will show up in the game?
Welcome to the forums ![]()
If it is going to appear, wait up to 48 hours.
To know why it doesn’t, or to find out in advance if it will, please post the location (from the submission receipt email below the photos).
I would expect this will appear, because it is unlikely there is anything within ~50m, which is a rough guideline ![]()
Your Wayspot is in an unoccupied L17 S2 cell, so unless there are restrictions on the property by the owner, I would expect it to appear at the next sync. I expect the next sync of Pokemon Go game locations to happen around 23-24 hours from now.
For more explanation, you can see this topic they have allowed me to post. I try to explain both the S2 cells, and having to sync in. Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)
It’s state trust land so it’s open to the public. It use to be private property by has recently been bought by the state to preserve the history of this location.
i should not have even mentioned reasons it might not appear. i just hate to say “this will definitely appear at the next sync, you just need to wait another 24 hours” and then not have it show up. i don’t see any issues here, and hope you will post screenshots of the new stop tomorrow!
@cyndiepooh what did you use to see those type of grid on the map
If you join the wayfarer discussion on discord you will find assistance there. It is not permissible to post the links on this forum.
if you search for “wayfarer tools” you can find them, and the link to the “Wayfarer Discussion Discord”
I am going to move this to the general discussion area as that is a more appropriate place.
@fierygingeraz do let us know if it appears as we hope.
