As I go through town and see pokestops in private gated communities and along busy roadsides that have zero ability to get to without being hit by a car I wonder who actually makes these selections work.
I can’t get a roadside place with parking to be approved.
I am done with Wayfarer AND Pokemon Go. It’s just not fun.

Wayspots in gated communities are explicitly allowed. Not all wayspots have to be accessible to all people. Having access to only a few people doesn’t affect eligibility.
Having accessibility (to at least some people) is necessary but not sufficient.

It can be frustrating when you start comparing your own submissions to others you see around you.
Rather than focus on other people’s submissions, perhaps we can help with yours?
If you provide the full nomination we can see if mistakes were made in presenting it or in review. We might also be able to find other things to submit.
I think some of them appear out of the blue with internal information from google maps or something like that. New nominations are reviewed by automatic system from niantic an then pass to a manual review of user. At this point you couldn’t know what are going to happen per we have a manual of “how to the review it” but in the end reviewers can make as is own criteria
Public access isn’t required. I’ve played at theme parks (paid admission), zoos (paid admission), etc, and I know of one approved stop that’s in an employees only area of a government building and not even reachable from outside the facility. (I happen to know it was submitted by an employee.)
Safe pedestrian access is required, but that does not mean EVERY pedestrian.
If you do decide to return please post details of your rejected nomination (1 at a time is best).
Include screen shot of the full nomination including both photos, Title, Description, Supplemental and Location (found in the email you receive when 1st submitted).
We will be happy to advice on possible changes that might improve your chance of a Accept.
Unfortunately we may also have to advice that it just doesn’t meet criteria.
With a general location we could also take a look at the maps and make suggestions.

Agradezco tu aclaración embajador Elijusttryng, como has visto no tengo nada de experiencia en Wayfarer por lo que quise compartir la experiencia de un jugador con la mia, si hay otro foro me lo mandas para asi entablar conversaciones alli.
Mi pregunta es: ¿Cuanto llevas trabajando aquí? Si llevas años me podrias dar consejos de como ayudar correctamente a los jugadores de tal forma que eso ayude a mejorar la comunidad de wayfarer. Espero que sigas corrigiendo a los que se equivocan como yo, eso hace que seas un buen embajador que mantiene el control y gestion de la conversación.
