I know its disappointing to have this 30 day suspension, but it seems you know what happened and agree that these were pinned for game purposes not accuracy purposes.
Hopefully after the 30 days are done, you can continue and will know the rules better. After a year, I believe this will no longer count against you if you follow the rules from now on 
As I was trying to explain, this is what the situation is about (I will attach a screenshot to explain my point)
In green you have the location of the wayspot, in red the in life actual location, in pink my request.
But the building is in fact the wayspot, so any spot on the building would make sense in my opinion. I made plenty of edits in the past years and they were mostly positive and always in the same way.
And still, if I’m wrong, it’s still really harsh to make it a warning, rather than a simple rejection. I’m not saying I’m right, I’m saying it’s too much.

Does someone from niantic actually read this? And can try to do something? I think this was really harsh, even tho probably right, a rejection would have been enough. I also spent a lot of money for the upcoming event, so that’s the biggest issue

I just hope this could go at least back to the first warning. I would be down even to pay a fine if necessary. Hopefully they can read this and sort something out. Come on I’ve seen all kinds of terrible wayspot edits and nomination in the last years and this is barely something wrong.
Staff do not always respond on posts about bans. It depends on whether there is any need for them to respond. Here, since you are completely aware of the actions you took that caused the ban and it is vanishingly unlikely that this will be reversed, there may be no response from Niantic since there is nothing extra for them to say. That is of course up to them, but don’t get your hopes up.
I also appealed through the process they offer. I don’t know if it’s going to be useful or not, but I think that maybe, if somebody reads this, and has a bit of compassion and understanding, it could be reversed. Rules or not rules, I did nothing harmful, even because guidelines state: * Attempts to move the Wayspot to a location away from the object with which it’s associated (for example,
moving the Wayspot to a different city/country)
Which I don’t think applies to this since it’s a few steps. If I got the warning due to the description that stated the reason of the edit and considered it as “influencing” I don’t know how somebody could even try to make an edit not incurring into any kind of sanctions. It’s still a game. I think this should be revised from a real person rather than a bot (even because I think bots give warnings)
Naturally we don’t see the complete picture here (we can’t see your proposed edit). But assuming you gave a correct description, your appeal should have been that you tried to move it to a better position, not for game purposes (as the wayspot is already active), but to better reflect its real life position.
We can argue if the move was the best suggestion, but I can see the proposed move could be viewed as an improvement.
But there is one problem, you also have stated that you did intend to do this for game benefits, and this will make a successful appeal difficult.
But this is not up to us, but up to staff.
I think that what I state should be interpreted and analyzed with what actually happened. I’m not a natural English talker being from Italy, so most of the times I don’t even know what’s the right thing to say or how to explain myself. If it was any other part of the year, I would most likely take the L and wait for the 30 days to pass. But I spent a lot of money for the ongoing event, and it’s going to be all thrown in the trash if I don’t regain access to my account before Saturday.
I just wish that anybody reading this could have some empathy and work something out for me. I think that everything I explained is clearly a mistake which I was not aware of, but I repeat, it’s a game, and a 30 day ban for something this insignificant seems so harsh in my opinion.
As some other people stated in the comments, I’m not the only one that thinks this was a bit too much, so I don’t think I’m totally out of line. Even because maybe who replied is much more informed than me

Yea you are absolutely right, but can we agree that it is not “as abusive as it seems” for my edit?
Because from my perspective I think there should be some kind of leeway for minor mistakes like this. As I said, rejection would have been more than enough

I am reading through and trying to follow what is happening.
Your first flagged issue was for a suggested wayspot move. Did you only have a new location or did you also include a description edit to explain the move? If you included the description edit it makes sense that you got a warning and not just a rejection.
And the recent one you did intentionally nominate it for cell purposes, so that one we understand the issue clearly.
