Imported wayspot duplicate appeal

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: De Pannekoekenbakker Zuidland

  • Location (lat/lon): 51.821256,4.277471

  • City: Zuidland

  • Country: The Netherlands

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any):

This report on this import was rejected. I don’t understand this, this import is a clear duplicate of the currently active Wayspot here: 51.821247,4.277437), called Restaurant on the Stompeardseplas

Please take another look at this appeal. Thank You

This is the cover photo of the community-submitted wayspot, which is for De Pannekoekenbakker

Thanks for taking the time to do this for me :hugs:

You might have been about to do it, but the names didn’t match, so I thought it would help to make it obvious that the wayspots do

Plus it frustrates me a little to see appeal/report rejections that take about 10 seconds to see are wrong.

Fun fact about this location:

This location actually had 3 wayspots representing it.

The community submitted wayspot being used as a pokestop, and 2 imports.

I reported the 2 imports as duplicates almost a month ago now. 1 of them was fairly quickly decided and it was accepted, but the other report for the other import still standing here to this day was rejected. Interesting decisions.

The only situation I saw close to this was a removal for a coffee shop wayspot being rejected when the petrol station it was attached to was a separate wayspot (maybe both imports, I don’t remember). That was a Costa Express coffee machine inside a shop, so not deserving of a separate wayspot.

Maybe someone thinks the restaurant is different to the sign.

Thanks for the appeal, @AMG7070! We gave this a second look and decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
