There is a local company with a wayspot within the factory area. It takes 100+ x8 to take it down and there is no public access. Whenever I report it, it gets rejected and since there is no appeal form, I don’t know where to turn for in-person review. Any tips?
If the portal is safely accessible to people who work there, then it does not meet removal criteria. These things are allowed (from the reviewing tool tip for “Appropriate”
There is a category here for appealing a rejected removal report - Wayspot Appeals - but I think this was probably correctly rejected.
Hard to accept when at the same time safely and publically accessible portals that meet all the criteria get removed. But I guess I’m powerless in that case.
You can also use the Wayspot Appeals section to appeal an incorrect Wayspot removal. Maybe you can get some back.
Community members will gladly help you how to formulate these appeals and if the removed wayspots actually fulfill removal criteria or not
Remember that safe access is only one aspect of a wayspot. There are multiple different factors that determine whether something should be in the database or not.
