Influencing reviewers

I often encounter a waypoint marker that says there are few POIs or no waypoints nearby. Otherwise, it sends a marker that is appropriate in every respect for evaluation. What can be done in this case? A clear rejection, due to the influence of the reviewers,

or should the reviewer be a little more lenient?

Saying “there are no pokestops in the area” is a statement (and is either true or not), not really influencing reviewers at all. People are asked by the in-game submit process to explain why their pokestop nomination is important, and a lack of stops would indeed make it feel important especiallyto a newer wayfarer. They may not realise that this isn’t what wayfarer is after in this section.

Influencing reviewers would be something more like including your trainer name (or putting yourself or something identifyable as yours) into the supporting picture maybe, some sort of signal to a group to vote to accept.

I think statements like that are a perfectly reasonable answer to this prompt.
