INGIUSTIZIA NIANTIC AI GIARDINI MARCINELLE! BANNATA SENZA MOTIVO!
Segnalo un’assurdità scandalosa da parte di Pokémon GO/Niantic! Ho proposto come PokéStop l’enorme parco dei Giardini Marcinelle sulla SS580. Quegli incompetenti mi hanno rifilato 30 giorni di BAN accusandomi di aver dichiarato una “posizione falsa” per una discrepanza di appena 45 metri!
45 metri NON SONO UNA VIOLAZIONE in un parco monumentale e immenso come questo! Il cursore rientra perfettamente e sacrosantamente nel perimetro dei Giardini! Non ho barato, la statua è lì dentro e intorno non c’è nulla per chilometri! Spero che qualcuno della community locale legga questo schifo e possa aiutarmi a far valere la verità o a far arrivare la voce a qualche moderatore di zona. È una vergogna!
You do understand that this is a location based game? The goal is that all waypoints are as close to the actual object as possible. 0-3 meters is about as far a gps drift as would be allowed. Did you submit the park using a sign or did you submit a sculture? If you show us a screenshot of the nomination we can be more helpful.

Often staff will read a post like this and send a direct message. If you would like the community’s perspective on this, you will need to show us the email you received with the specific violation noted, screenshots of the contribution from your contributions page showing exactly what you submitted and where, and the coordinates you submitted it at from the submission email. You do not need to show us any of this if you just want to wait for staff to reach out.

Il rifiuto di Niantic si basa su un evidente malinteso visivo: si sono impuntati sul monumento (statua e scritta) solo perché era il soggetto della foto principale.
Tuttavia, il titolo e la descrizione della candidatura specificano chiaramente che l’oggetto della proposta è l’intera area dei giardini, e non il singolo elemento decorativo. La foto ravvicinata della scritta “Giardini Marcinelle” è stata scelta appositamente come “ancora visibile” e cartello identificativo del luogo, seguendo le linee guida di Wayfarer, dato che una foto generica di soli alberi e piante non avrebbe provato l’esistenza del parco pubblico.
Se mi spieghi come allegare un’immagine qui, ti mostro subito la foto di supporto con la panoramica completa, che dimostra come il cartello e la statua siano solo l’ingresso dell’intera area verde.
Ah I see the confusion. Large area waypoints like a park need a specific location place marker like a sign, or an entrance to be acceptable in the game. You used this sign by this sculpture as the marker. This is a location based game and you submitted this object for the location. But then you suggested the game location far away from this marker. Unfortunately parks are not like sports fields where you can put the marker anywhere you feel like along the field as long as it doesn’t interfere the sports game. The pin needs to be at the marker you chose. A 30 day ban is generally used for a second or third offense so use this time to learn the criteria and consider your nominations more carefully. The warning will be removed from your record after a year but until then be very careful because another offense could result in a 10 year ban.

Queste sono le foto della mia proposta, foto fatte sul posto . Ma ormai è inutile . Quando Niantic si impunta non sente ragioni.
Non interessa capire ed ascoltare. La mia candidatura erano i giardini non la statua (che peraltro non è mai stata nominata nella mia candidatura )
Eppure mi becco un bel ban da 30 giorni e una macchia sul mio profilo perché il cursore della posizione non era posizionato sulla statua ma leggermente più dietro . Capisci che non ha senso ?
Inoltre la mappa non ha pokestop in quella zona per ben 3 km, non avrei avuto motivo di modificare la posizione
Parks, sports fields etc have a wide area to choose for the wayspot location. Generally, taking a photo of one aspect and pinning the wayspot somewhere completely different is suspicious.
If your focus is adding wayspots, which is the point of wayfarer, you would put the pin where the feature is that you have used for your photo. If you want the wayspot in a different place, use a photo of that place.
Did you use the Apple Maps imagery and have AI enhance or sharpen it, or am I mistaken? I’m just curious, as I randomly noticed that the Apple Maps imagery is literally taken from the same angle and has the same lighting.
