Invalid Wayspot Appeal: Mons. Juan B. Scalabrini

This Wayspot is physically located inside the facilities of the school (Colegio San Pedro). As can be verified on the map, the point’s location falls within the school’s grounds and is positioned diagonally across the street from the medical clinic (Policlínica La Concepción).
Having a Wayspot inside an active school property lacks free public access and compromises the security of the premises. Also it makes no sense to have a spot situated right in front of a medical clinic, as it triggers unnecessary crowding in a healthcare zone.
I want to request the removal because the location is completely invalid according to Niantic’s criteria.

I have attached an explanatory map screenshot with the following color code:

  • Green circle: Exact location of the Wayspot.

  • Pink perimeter: The grounds belonging entirely to the school (Colegio San Pedro).

  • Yellow perimeter: Medical Clinic (Policlínica La Concepción), located diagonally across the street.

It is good that Niantic take care when removing gyms.

Forget the clinic as it is not on the grounds of the clinic. Concentrate on the school. Is there anything showing that this is school for under-18s as opposed to a college for 18+. The website is minimal and unhelpful in this regard.

There is also a nearby mural that appears to be on the wall of this property : Mural Tiendas Montana (10.063369,-69.349224)

Thanks for the appeal @keikodos ,

We have removed the Wayspot in question. You should see the changes reflected soon.

Thanks for the reply

I’ll keep the focus strictly on the school criteria.

Just to clarify, (Unidad Educativa Colegio San Pedro) is definitely a school for minors, not an adult college. It goes from preschool (around 5-6 years old) all the way up to high school / Bachillerato (around 15-16 years old). If you check out the photos of the school on Google Maps, you can see the age range of the students who go there.

As for the ‘Mural Tiendas Montana’, its coordinates on the map are just a bit off. It’s actually on an external wall nearby and isn’t directly connected to the school grounds.

Thanks again for the help!.
