Dear Wayfarer Admins,
I am appealing the incorrect decision made by Niantic Support via the in-app reporting system. The support agent completely brushed off a major safety issue and ignored standard eligibility criteria.
Why this Gym MUST be removed immediately:
1. CRITERIA VIOLATION (Generic Business): This location is an ordinary commercial facility named ‘Vijay Food Product’. It holds absolutely no cultural, historical, or community significance. Under official Wayfarer guidelines, generic local businesses are strictly INELIGIBLE.
2. ZERO SAFE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS: This is a Gym where players are required to stand stationary for 15-30 minutes for Raids and Battles. The area has NO streetlights (pitch black at night) and becomes a hazardous mud pit during the rainy season. It fails the mandatory safe pedestrian access test.
3. SECURITY RISK: Due to the isolation and darkness around this food business, there is an active risk of theft and mugging at night.
Niantic Support incorrectly closed my ticket stating they can only act if the “property owner” requests a removal. This is complete negligence. Wayfarer criteria dictates that a Wayspot must be safe and eligible regardless of whether the owner has complained yet.
Please review this location based on Eligibility Guidelines and Player Safety, and remove this invalid Gym.
