Recently I came across a flat lego pixel art type design attached to a lamp post using a metal frame, with a form of protective glue/coating over the design which may help it to last. I’m not sure how permanent it is so I’m unsure as to if it is a good nomination. Please help.
Generally, if you don’t know if something is intended to be permanent, then you should not submit it. Can you find any documentation on the artwork to indicate it is an intentional installation? Photos may help.

How big is this? Is it on street view? It will affect its chance of acceptance. If its just pretty vandalism, it usually dont stay long.
It’s about 10cm^2 or so, fixed to a lamp post. Yes it is on street view and the artist had permission to install it.
This is the sort of thing that people place on lamp posts just to get wayspots. Being on streetview helps but is not automatically sufficient. If the artist had permission, they are very likely to have an instagram page (or elsewhere) advertising their artwork.
Okay so if theres proof that its apart of a collection then its allowed ?
Wayfarer does not have any kind of blanket statement that anything is always allowed. Proof that this is an intentional project helps with proving it meets criteria.

I am not saying that you did this,but basically you need to proof that its something official and not something created to make wayspot
Without any proof, it will be difficult to get it accepted
Yeah I appreciate you letting me know, I’m aware that wayspots must be permanent and legitimate (also without being on or on the outside wall of someone property)

Anyway I don’t believe its a good nomination so I’ll leave it for the time being thanks gng. My reason being even if its an intentional piece of art then that doesn’t mean its necessarily permanent. While it seems like it will last a while, at the end of the day its still just a thin lego design that will weaken in various weather conditions and most likely won’t last more than a year
