Is this an elegible wayspot?

Is this fountain elegible as wayspot? All circled houses are SFPRP (single-family private residential property)
White sratches in the middle is a person who was standing there, there was another opening the house that keeps covered with circles except for 1 photo where is scratched. Question mark is because I’m not sure if that one is SFPRP but probably is.

I’m wondering if that might be inelegible because it’s so close to that hosues and street is so tight.

Hello,

The issue with water font is not related to the nearby SFPRP.

The Font itself is normally not regarded as eligible as it is regarded a a utility item.

There is an issue over the use of the word fountain. In the criteria as the pictures illustrate it is used for ornamental water features.

Something near to SFPRP is not a problem. The water pump in the middle of the street is not blocked by SFPRP rules.

But there’s a lot of that fountains on villages/cities of this zone and they’re usually wayspots, do you mean they may be removed?

That’s unlikely. It is much harder to get something removed than to get it added, because the removal criteria are different to the wayspot eligibility criteria. Once something that is actually ineligible gets past reviewers, it will often not be removable because it doesn’t meet the removal criteria.

It’s potentially eligible under exploration criteria, but there has to be some justification for that, which would typically be that the fountain has some historic value and it would also need to be distinct meaning that there should not be too many of them around.

I was unable to determine much about it through Google Lens. These things usually have a maker’s name on them, that would be a good place to start. They don’t have to be ancient, I can usually get these 1930s drinking water hydrants accepted:
