Little Free Library doesn't exist and is now just someone's personal yard, report rejected

I am so done here with nominating and reporting. My report for a Little Free Library that doesn’t exist was rejected. I thought that personal property wasn’t accepted and that is what the Pokestop is.

Have you appeal the rejection? Standard procedure is to appeal. If you are willing to leave the wayspot name and coordinate other wayfarer like you can take a look

There was no appeal option in the email. The coordinates are 42.407083, -96.362693 and the name is free little library.

Which property did you think this was part of.

I am not from USA and find SFPRP there complicated.
However to me this is on the land used for the park.

It really isn’t. It’s a minute or so from my home. Look at the pokestop description. There is no little free library even if was the park.

Also, the park is a Pokestop.

The fact the park is a pokestop is not relevant to something like a little free library.

The description seems reasonable. It is next to the play area.
The location does not seem next to someone’s house.
Google is 5 years old though.
If it is more about that it no longer exists then you will need some up to date geotagged photos - a few different angles to show that it is not there.

According to Streetview, the LFL is on Park Grounds. Even though the park has been submitted, it doesn’t necessarily mean that individual objects don’t qualify.

It isn’t worth it because the report option has no area for images. Between this and my submission being denied for having third party photos when they were mine, I see no reason to continue. I even talked to two support people via email about my submission.

I recently learned that you can submit images with an in game report. the “Next” button doesn’t submit, it takes you to a screen where you can submit a photo.

I think it’s a perspective thing from Maps. The LFL is in the grass space that is physically connected to the park. If the library were in front of the house directly and not connected to the land that the park is on I could agree that it would be worth reporting.

It isn’t currently there though.

Okay, I thought I saw a comment that said your report didn’t include a photo and thought it would be redundant to say that part again. I just got here and have had a similar experience

I think I might see what the problem is regarding the location - the description of the location, which has been taken from Google Maps.

The only thing that matters is the actual location of the wayspot, which is (42.407083, -96.362693) and in a park. The location is then given a narrative which is taken from google maps and is the clearest identifiable thing in the google maps system. Ignore this as it has no relevance.

If the LFL no longer exists, you can report it as no longer existing, but will need to provide evidence of this.

If you have the rejection email and current geotagged photos demonstrating that it is not there you should be able to appeal the decision in this section Wayspot Appeals
