Greetings!
I noticed when trying to nominate a mini library in my area it stated it was already submitted. Years later I notice it’s still in nomination status but not active?
It isn’t determined by blocks. Density is determined by L14 S2 cells, as explained in the topic I linked. There are two other pokestops in this cell: Savannah Peachtree entry Belle Manor Park
So you’re saying this library shouldn’t be a pokestop, but the pool can? I skimmed over what you shared.. that’s alot. Our community really could use more stops than 2. the Savannah entrance is across a 50mph road, I’d like our kids to stay safe.
It definitely is a lot! Have a slow read over the linked articles and come back with more questions.
NEVER use knowledge of S2 cells to submit something where it doesn’t actually exist. Only use it to understand what is eligible to be a pokestop and a gym.
Remember, you are submitting Wayspots, not Pokestops. What may be eligible as a Wayspot is not a guarantee to appear in Pogo. It will go down to inclusion rules. So using the link that has been posted, if in a given cell a Pokestop exists, any other Wayspot that is synced to Pogo and appears in the same cell as an exist Pokestop will not appear. It doesn’t mean it isn’t eligible in the first place, just means the inclusion rules prevent it from appearing.
Yeah, I’m not trying to take advantage of the system. I’m trying to help my kids so they don’t cross that 50mph street. I just think it’s silly when I see a bunch of spinners in a small place but the library is too close. So I assume since it’s a Gym, then no spinners can be that close is what you are saying. It’s not like I’m trying to submit a curb as a pokestop. it’s a mini library. Again, trying to help here. I’ll let them know to submit the pool. Thanks.
No that is not what I am saying. I am saying that there can only be one pokestop or gym in each little box. They can be practically touching at the four corners with just the little invisible line between them.
If you are planning on the Pool near to the LFL then you want to make sure that the images show that it is for communal use, if it is on Single Family Private Residence Property (SFPRP) then it will not be eligible. You will also need to make sure it is pinned at the area that is in the empty cell.
Unfortunately, Residential areas are not great for Pokemon Go especially in places that have strict zoning laws.
Are there any Trail Markers in “Doe Branch Regional Park Property”?
What about these sports facilities. You should pin off the area of play so behind the goal is perfect and will allow 2 waypoints.
It’s a community pool funded by HOA. Not a private pool. Same as the little playground in front of it.
I’m not sure where you got this screenshot from but it looks like a tennis court of a private owner that stuck a house in between the two neighborhoods.
