When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
Wayspot Title: 생동
Location (lat/lon): 36.786459, 127.100853
City: Asan-si
Country:South Korea
Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
Additional Information (if any):
This Wayspot is an approved feature in the Niantic database, designated as a sculpture “생동”. However, the Wayspot has been removed from the live game due to a conflict with the S2 Cell Density Rules of an adjacent Wayspot.
I. Location Error is the Root Cause
The S2 Cell conflict is a direct result of an inaccurate GPS location currently registered for this Wayspot.
• The Wayspot is incorrectly placed at the Current Location coordinate: (36.786459, 127.100853).
• The actual, real-world location of the playground structure is at the Proposed Location coordinate: (36.7863138,127.1009052).
II. Resolving the S2 Cell Conflict via Correction
By correcting the Wayspot’s location to the Proposed Location, the following will be achieved:
The Wayspot will correctly reflect the physical location of the approved point of interest.
The new, corrected location will no longer share the same Level 17 S2 Cell .
This resolution will satisfy the S2 Cell density rules, allowing for the rightful restoration of this Wayspot in the live games.
We have already submitted a Location Edit request via the Wayfarer system. We kindly request that the Appeals team approve the proposed location edit to correct this data inaccuracy and restore this valid Wayspot to the games.

Please double-check these details. The 생동 portal in Ingress is in the middle of the road at 36.7863138,127.1009052, which you are saying is the correct location for this structure, whilst 36.786459, 127.100853 appears legitimate but you are saying is the incorrect location (and Niantic are saying is the correct location).
Are you sure? When i check just now , The coordinate seems wrong. Its like you are putting it in the street for game purpose.
Since ingress location is incorrect, it seems someone “correct” its location which make it dissappear, and you are trying to move it again to make it reappear.
Please know that missplacement of wayspot edit is subject to abuse ladder system. I personally learn it the hard way.

Additional Information:
Dear Wayfarer Appeals Team,
I am submitting this urgent appeal due to a severe safety violation regarding the location of this Wayspot, which has been incorrectly rejected in a previous appeal.
Critical Safety Violation (Hazard):
The Wayspot’s current registered location (36.7863138, 127.1009052) is physically in the middle of a public roadway, where the Wayspot object does not exist. This is a direct, blatant violation of the Niantic Wayfarer Safety and Access policy (Criteria: Must be safe and publicly accessible).
• Evidence: The attached Ingress screenshot clearly demonstrates the Portal pin is placed on the road/median.
Correct Location & Resolution:
The actual, real-world object (sculpture) is located at the Proposed Location (36.786459, 127.100853). This location is safe and accessible to the public.
We strongly request that you immediately approve the location edit to move the Wayspot from the hazardous roadway to the safe, correct location (36.786459, 127.100853).
This correction will not only uphold Niantic’s safety standards but will also resolve the current S2 Cell Density conflict, allowing for the legitimate restoration of this Wayspot into the live games.
[Please provide a Google Maps/Street View Link clearly showing the structure at the Proposed Location (36.786459, 127.100853)]
This is the third thread by you for this wayspot. Niantic have twice said that 생동 is now at the correct location. If you want the portal corrected, as it is currently in the middle of the road, please contact Niantic Spatial, as Ingress portals no longer have anything to do with Niantic Wayfarer.
Hi @bugye1
I’ve merged all your diffrent threads into that one. If you have another topic to discuss you’re welcome to open a new one. But for this issue please stay in one
