Can anyone help me with this? Here’s the appeal rejection. It’s a popular community gathering place as there are no other restaurants in the area and it’s got great food and ties to the community. It’s been here for 5 years and is the only permanent food truck that doesn’t just drive all over the place that I know of in town.

Express burritos is an active, vital part of the community. Locally owned and with authentic cuisine, this is the only restaurant in the area, and is a wonderful place to meet up with others from the community. There are wooden chainsaw carved sculptures and antique vehicles around the truck serving as unique decor, and picnic benches and tables nearby.

The truck operates on a permanent, long-term commercial lease, and functions as a stable community anchor rather than a temporary mobile vendor. Safe pedestrian access is available via the public sidewalks along US-89, allowing community members to walk directly up to the service window safely.

It will always be difficult when something is designed to be movable to prove permanence. It is also not clear where you would socialise at this location - seating and tables to eat and chat with friends.
You mention carvings and antique vehicles - could you show us pictures of these please? They might make better wayspots.
Cafes and restaurants are eligible under the Social criteria, specifically because you meet up there with others and socialise. That they serve food is not why they are eligible,.
You need to show that this food truck is somewhere where people socialise, not just state it. This is a harder sell than most restaurants because it immediately flags itself as not being permanent.
If the supporting photo contains prominent people, license plates, animals, cars etc, especially when they are completely unnecessary and the photo could easily have been taken without them, then many reviewers will find this suspicious. Maybe you are trying to tell your friends “this is one of mine, please accept it”.
When the people etc in the supporting photo are in the background and part of the scene, especially when you are submitting something that is Social or is, for example, a very popular tourist attraction, that is OK.
It is the main photo where people are a definite problem!
One of the ways you “show” that it’s a social spot and important to the community is by linking to awards it has won or listings on websites that recommend it or news stories about it. Without those, this just looks like a take-away place that may have good food but does not rise to the level of being a Wayspot. I think the Appeal reviewer was right based on what we’ve seen so far.
(Like, sometimes food trucks can become so famous that they are featured on TV shows about the local cuisine.)
