Long time pokestop has gone missing that was also a showcase. We witnessed it disappear yesterday, July 5th around 5pm local time. Location coordinates are 44.647030,-63.570016 and the stop was known as ‘The wave’. Just wondering what happened to it and why it disappeared. Thanks!

Ingress & Pokémon GO don’t use the same maps now so it can be on Ingress and not be on Pokémon GO.
You’re unlikely to find out exactly what happened to it but your coordinates are a little off. Red pin below is the coordinates you gave and you can see the “Wave Sculpture” just above.
So I would guess that someone may have done a location edit in Pokémon GO, and thus the cell got “recalculated” and something else is now the PokéStop.
This is just my best guess though.
I think I do need to just clarify that edits made in Pokémon GO wouldn’t affect Ingress (where these screenshots are from) and vice versa now.
