Please note the sentence that says “Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games”.
Once a wayspot is accepted, there are additional rules used by Pokemon Go to decide if and how it will be used.
If you post the coordinates, forum members will probably be able to comment on this specific wayspot. It is possible that there is a geoblock, but normally there is a nearby wayspot that is blocking this for Pogo.
